Support Sam Faulder!

Bristol ABC are asking comrades to support anarchist prisoner Sam Faulder.

About Sam and her case: Sam Faulder is an anarchist prisoner currently serving a life sentence in England. Sam is a miscarriage of justice who has done over ten years in the prison system.

She has been an anti-authoritarian her whole life and was relentlessly targeted by police because of her lifestyle choices. After serving nearly two years on remand, Sam’s trial was a disaster. Police corruption impacted her trial and her solicitor firm withdrew from her case three weeks before it began. Her need to appeal coincided with cuts to legal-aid and she has been trapped in the prison system ever since. She is now working with Cardiff University’s Innocence Project on her appeal. Learn more about her case and appeal here: http://freedomforsam.org/about/

About Sam’s health: After ten years experiencing every abuse imaginable, Sam was sadly diagnosed with cancer in 2016.  She has still not had treatment. She has experienced intense medical neglect while being imprisoned in a for-profit prison, HMP Peterborough, run by Sodexo. Read the full story of her cancer situation here: http://freedomforsam.org/sams-cancer-timeline/

Lukáš Borl released from prison!

Lukáš Borl, an anarchist imprisoned in remand since September 2016 was
released on bail today. That means that he will wait for the court
outside of the prison walls. It is the first time since the beginning of
the operation Fenix when no anarchist is in so called Czech republic
held in prison.

International call out April 17-23, 2017 for decentralized actions in solidarity with comrades accused of bank-robbery in Aachen (Germany)

In 2015, a comrade from Amsterdam was arrested. She was accused of having participated in a robbery in 2013 against the Aachener bank in Aachen. After a few months spent in preventive and several weeks of trial, she was finally acquitted and released. Nevertheless, it can be assumed that the Aachen Prosecutor’s Office will appeal this verdict and go to the revision court.

In April and June 2016, two other comrades, this time from Barcelona, were arrested and incarcerated by the spanish state, accused by the same prosecution office of having participated in another bank robbery. The two were then extradited to germany in June 2016, where they have since been under the U-Haft regime (investigative preventive prison). The trial against them began in January 2017 in the Aachen Justice complex and it is scheduled to run until May 22, 2017.

It does not come as a surprise to us that those who oppose and fight against the misery of this world forged on domination are attacked, prosecuted and punished. We are not interested in discussing about guilt or innocence, it is the language that belongs to our enemies and we refuse it. Our enemies follow the logic of separation and categorization of individuals, in order to then have the possibility of locking up the undesirables. We share with the accused comrades an aversion to this system, and towards the prison system which perpetuates the distinction between good citizens and those who deserve to be punished.

We hate all the repressive infrastructures of all States, just as all the far-reaching tentacles of the Church, with its long tradition of oppression. The Church is part of the State, linked directly to banks and participating in the maintenance of the control that is imposed on us daily.

Considerable steps have been taken in the development and the role of repression in our daily lives. New technologies and progress in the deciphering of DNA, biometric analysis, surveillance cameras, …. So many instruments used to study, scrutinize and control. They also represent part of the structure, part of our enemy, against which we take a position and which we want to destroy.

The collaboration of the police, judges and investigators from different States is an old strategy that has been updated in Europe to contribute to a faster, clearer and more cruel Capitalist system.

With our veins filled with rage, strength and courage, we set off to the streets. Reinforced with every repressive blow, we stand by our comrades. We show them through the continuation of our struggles and through our solidarity the desire for the destruction of a system we do not want or need.

This is a call to solidarity with the anarchists accused of robbery in Aachen. It is a call to maintain the links between the rebels and the oppressed wherever possible throughout the world.

We use our instruments to sabotage and attack, destroying the structure of power. We use our imagination to express our solidarity in all its variations while our passion inspires us to continue our struggles.

We therefore call to express solidarity with the comrades in the week between April 17th to 23rd.

Nothing is finished, our struggles continue! Until all are free!
Solidarity with comrades on trial in Aachen.

Freedom for them! Freedom for all!
For revolt! For anarchy!

Another Anarchist in Jail

On Sunday, September 4th, police captured our comrade Lukáš Borl. Lukáš is an anarchist who has lived in underground for about a year, due to previous intense surveillance. On Monday September 5th the court sent him to custody jail. State attorney, Naďa Voláková, commented on the case for the Czech News Agency: “I confirm the capture of a man who is accused of foundation, supporting and promoting a movement aimed at suppressing human rights and freedoms, black mail and misdemeanor of criminal damage…”

We do not yet know what exactly Lukáš is accused of. We will continue to provide updates. So far you can support him by sending a letter or by a spontaneous noise demonstration. Lukáš is held in a custody jail in the city of Litoměřice. Here is the address:

Eric King’s Sentencing Statement

From supportericking.org

We have received the transcript from Eric’s sentencing. We want to share both Eric’s statement to the court and the transcript in entirety.

“THE DEFENDANT: First I’d like to congratulate the Court on such a stellar job. Another graffiti homeless person is off the street. So I’m sure the FBI and Patrick are very proud of themselves. This is a good picture for the United States and they needed this. This is a solid win. You do an amazing job up there

This is supposed to be a chance for me to speak. I didn’t speak this entire time. You’ve held sentencing and punishment over me, and even now no matter what I say you can still hold that against me, not let me do things, not recommend things. That’s such a farce. This whole court’s a farce.

I stated what I did. I’m happy I did it. The government in this country is disgusting. The way they treat poor people, the way they treat brown people, the way they treat everyone that’s not in the class of white and male is disgusting, patriarchal, filthy racist.

You’re all a part of this. From the man over there who works the same corporation company that ran Prime Health Pro (ph) to you that takes away freedom and tears apart the community. You do that thinking that this is justice. This is no justice in ripping people from their homes. For what? Breaking a window? Ten years for breaking a window? And the cop that killed Freddie Gray got zero? The people that killed Trayvon Martin got zero? It’s so horrendous.

And I’m not sorry for what I did. I’m sorry that I got caught before I could do more things. I would have loved to attack more government buildings and make sure that bubble of safety that prosecutors and FBI agents and judges feel got shattered so that they stay in their safe pockets knowing they can’t touch me even though there are consequences to my actions. Same way we have consequences for our actions. If I throw a hammer out a window, I get ten years in jail. If you sentence a first-time offender to life in prison if he sold meth, you get a clap on the back from the President and a job for life. And if that’s justice, then you’re use of justice is so skewed and just horrendously immoral.

Further, this isn’t a victory for the State. This isn’t a win for any of you, any of you on this other side of the table. It’s done nothing but affirm my views, affirm my beliefs that the government is just disgusting. Even when I walk in I can’t tell my wife I love her. I can’t look at her and smile because, what, I broke a window? That’s justice? That’s fair? That’s not justice. There’s no rehabilitation in that. There’s no freedom in that. There’s no constitutional rights in that. It’s just bullying. It’s just the upper class saying we’re going to keep people who did not agree to our rules and then decide not to live by them, we’re going to keep those people shackled up so we can live comfortably in our own little bubbles and we never have to look outside of those bubbles to realize what’s really happening, which this class is set up to keep people down, and when people step out of that class system, they get punished horrendously, more than any other country, any other country on earth, the land of the free. It’s despicable.

This sentence has brought me closer to the community I really serve. That’s the radical view, the poor community. It’s shown me what solidarity means. It’s shown me what friendship means. It’s shown me what love means. It’s shown me what being a real human means, not standing by people when they’re knocked down, not further knocking them down, not going after poor people if they want to provide for their families and not do it the way that the white society thinks is appropriate. You’re disgusting.”
